Disclosure of  GPS Location

The App requires GPS location information for functionality purposes and may use and store information about users location information.

If a Driver disables their GPS while using the App, it will disrupt certain features like invitations to bid. Also turning off GPS would also turn off Driver navigation and Shipper tracking features during a delivery.

When a Driver makes a bid on a job, the Shipper will see the location on a map of where the Driver was located when the bid was placed. This is to assist the Shipper in deciding on a driver. If the Driver is anywhere where they would not want their location disclosed, they should not place a bid from that location. The Driver's location information is also used to calculate their approximate (straight line) round trip distance from where they are located at the time of the bid to the delivery stops and back.

When a Shipper provides addresses describing a pick-up or drop off location (or locations), Drivers bidding on the job will be able to see those location’s actual addresses and map location for the purpose of deciding on a bid amount. App Users will never see the GPS location of the Shipper (only the pickup or drop off addresses provided).

If the Driver uses navigation within the Bid Drivers platform to navigate from their location to the pick up and drop off location (or locations), the Shipper will be able to view the Driver's location on a tracking map.  Bid Drivers tracking of Driver's position is only available during active in-App navigation.   A Driver may choose to use an alternate navigation source, but it is preferable to leave Bid Drivers in-App navigation running for Shipper confidence and coordination purposes.

Disclosure of Contact Information with other Users

Once payment has been made, the Shipper and the Driver will have access to each others contact information including name or business name, email provided, and mobile phone number provided.  This data is to be used for open communication between Shipper and Driver to facilitate pickup and delivery.
